Video: Which Miche Bag is Right For You? - How does the Miche Bag Work?

I've been telling so many people about Miche the last few weeks.  It is so exciting to share my passion for purses with each of you.  Everyone loves the concept of having a base bag and being able to switch out the outer "shell" to change its look.

I felt it would be beneficial to repost my video that explains each of the Miche bag sizes AND also shows how to attach the shell to the base bag.  If you are reading this via e-mail, you will need to come to my blog to view this video.



A shell will only work "IF" you also have a base bag.  You can purchase one base bag in the size of your choice, then purchase as many shells as you would like to go with that base bag.  You do NOT need to purchase a base bag with each shell.

If you should decide to purchase more than one size of bag/shell, then you do need to have a base bag for each size that you want shells for.  Sizes available are petite, classic, demi and prima.

Which Size Purse is Perfect For You - Part 5 - Hip Bag

 Morgan is 8" tall x 8 1/2" wide.

The handle is 1/2" wide with a 21" drop.

Purse is self-contained and is does not have interchangeable shells like the petite, classic, demi, or prima bags.

It has two zippered outer pockets.  The top one goes to the bottom of the bag.

No interior pockets, but the interior is large enough to hold a NOOK Simple Touch and still have room for a few other items too.

Stella is 6" tall x 9 1/2" wide.

The handle is 1/2" wide with a 21" drop.

Purse is self-contained and is does not have interchangeable shells like the petite, classic, demi, or prima bags.

These bags are perfect for the times you just have a few items to carry.  They may be worn over the shoulder or cross-body style.   I have the Morgan and know it will be used greatly when we take a cruise.  I like having a smaller bag to carry just a few things when we are on board the ship.   Both Morgan and Stella will be perfect for that.  I like too how they can go from casual to elegant so easily.

Which Size Purse is Perfect For You - Part 4 - Prima Bag

The Prima Bag is the style I have been using the last year.  At first I must admit I thought it might be too large, but now I absolutely LOVE IT!!!  It is comfortable on my shoulder, holds everything I need to take (so no cutting back or decision making).  

The Prima Base Bag is 5" wide x 15" long x 12" tall.

Handles are 20" long with a 10" handle drop.

Features two small interior open pockets, one medium open pocket, 

one large zippered pocket, four credit card slots and two pen holders.

Which Size Purse is Perfect For You - Part 3 - Demi Bag

 The Demi Bag is brand new, so right now there are 6 shells total available.  Trust me, that number will continue to grow.  This size is very popular.

Here's the 6 shells ... isn't the color variety great!!!

 The Demi Base Bag is 7" wide x 14" long x 9.5" tall.  

The handles are 1" wide and 23.5" long with a 10" handle drop.

 

This is a close up of the Demi Base Bag carabiner.  Handles easily slip on and off.

Photo of the inside of the bag.  I use the end pocket (bottom of the photo) to store my sunglasses.  There are 2 pockets on the left side with an additional card slot pocket and 2 pen areas (elastic strip).  

The right side pocket in this photo is the zippered pocket.

The Demi Base Bag has jumbo eyelets on each end that will allow you to switch out the handles to create a hobo style bag.

Which Size Purse is Perfect For You - Part 2 - Classic Bag

 The Classic Bag Base comes in Black, Brown, or Cream.  The choice is yours.

The bag base is 11.75" wide x 6.5" tall x 5.75" deep.

The handle is 15" long.

 Brown Classic Base Bag.

 Cream classic bag base.

 I like how on the inside one side is a long zippered pocket and the other side is 2 smaller pockets with a stretchy top to them to allow them to expand a bit and keep things in place.

 The Classic Bag Base is zippered and has snaps on both ends to hold the zipper secure.  The zipper may also be left unsnapped if you would like.  Personal choice.

There are two types of shells for the Classic Base Bag ... one is a one piece that attaches at the top side of the bag, goes down and around, then attaches at the top of the other side of the bag.   Then we have a shell style that they Classic Bag Base slip into and they wrap around the base.  Here are some examples:

 Reese

This shell is called Reese .... it is the flat piece style (my term).  See how the side of the base bag shows on the sides.  

(Mary's Notes:  I absolutely LOVE this shell.  The color is so rich and the texture fantastic.

Deniece

Deniece is a great representative of the shell that wraps around the bag base.  It has been a big hit with customers who have seen it in person.  It is a dark denim with white ostrich - textured top.  This shell can only be purchased thru a Miche Bag Rep website.

I always like to know what the purse looks like inside and out.  So the next few posts will show you photos of the base bag from inside to out.

Petite Bag:  You purchase the Petite Bag Base, then decide which shells you would like to purchase.  So many choices.  Such a cute bag too.
