Which Size Purse is Perfect For You - Part 2 - Classic Bag

 The Classic Bag Base comes in Black, Brown, or Cream.  The choice is yours.

The bag base is 11.75" wide x 6.5" tall x 5.75" deep.

The handle is 15" long.

 Brown Classic Base Bag.

 I like how on the inside one side is a long zippered pocket and the other side is 2 smaller pockets with a stretchy top to them to allow them to expand a bit and keep things in place.

 The Classic Bag Base is zippered and has snaps on both ends to hold the zipper secure.  The zipper may also be left unsnapped if you would like.  Personal choice.

There are two types of shells for the Classic Base Bag ... one is a one piece that attaches at the top side of the bag, goes down and around, then attaches at the top of the other side of the bag.   Then we have a shell style that they Classic Bag Base slip into and they wrap around the base.  Here are some examples:

 Reese

This shell is called Reese .... it is the flat piece style (my term).  See how the side of the base bag shows on the sides.  

(Mary's Notes:  I absolutely LOVE this shell.  The color is so rich and the texture fantastic.

Deniece

Deniece is a great representative of the shell that wraps around the bag base.  It has been a big hit with customers who have seen it in person.  It is a dark denim with white ostrich - textured top.  This shell can only be purchased thru a Miche Bag Rep website.

Which Size Purse is Perfect For You - Part 1 - Petite Bag

I always like to know what the purse looks like inside and out.  So the next few posts will show you photos of the base bag from inside to out.

Petite Bag:  You purchase the Petite Bag Base, then decide which shells you would like to purchase.  So many choices.  Such a cute bag too.

The Laurie Shell for Prima Bags features the Urban Bag design, so you have the choice of wearing it over your shoulder or on your back. Made from durable but gorgeous iridescent faux leather in classic gun metal grey.  (This is the one I own.)

The Urban Bag Shell even has a large open style pocket across the back.  I was able to carry documents that were in a manila envelope in it last week with no problem.  The outside open pocket covered most of the manila envelope.  The pockets on the outside, plus the pockets on the inside of the Prima Bag really gives you lots of storage room. 

I use my Urban Bag Shell with my Prima Bag  as a shoulder bag, but with a quick change of the handles you can make it a backpack style purse/bag easily.

Miche Bag Return Policy

MICHE BAG RETURN POLICY

Customer exchanges and/or returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase as long as the items have been unused, are in the original packaging and the customer has a receipt with proof of purchase. All items have to be in a RESELLABLE condition. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

Defective items can be returned for a full refund or for a replacement item within 90 days.

Definition of a defect:

A defect is defined as product that is not in a SALEABLE condition. Examples: seam has pulled out, snap is broken, zipper is defective, magnets not working properly, carabineers are breaking, etc…  Miche Bag will no longer take items that have been returned that have a color transfer on them. For example, the Jackie, Cassidy and Yellow Sheila shells can absorb colors if they are not stored with a barrier between them. These shells are in the process of being retired.

Normal wear and tear will not be accepted for a return.

NOTE:  Shipping charges will not be refunded. C.O.D. returns will not be accepted

Basic Care of Your Miche Bags

BASIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

The original concept of the Miche Bag was inspired by a spill. If your bag ever needs a facelift or is no longer up to par, you can replace your shell with ease. The Miche Bag was designed so that consumers could not only change the look of their bag, but could also switch out their shell if it became dirty. We realize that not all spills require the purchase of a new shell, so if your shell becomes slightly soiled, you may wipe the bag or shells with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

The Miche Bag organizer is the best way to store your shells!
*You will want to fold them over once (as they were in the original packaging) or lay them flat. Do not fold them in thirds as this will cause the material to ripple and create a gap at the bottom edge of the base.
*You will want to alternate the direction of the metal feet when stacking your shells to avoid any indentations on the adjacent shell.
*The Miche Bag is designed to expand; however, if you find the sides of your bag are losing shape, you are over stuffing your bag.

Some Miche shells are made with a material called PU, one of the characteristics of this material is the potential to transfer color from one shell to another. Always place a protective barrier such as tissue paper or fabric in between shells when stacking. These shells can also be affected by heat and humidity so make sure to store them at room temperature.
